Solution

In a person with hemophilia, blood coagulates much slower or may not clot properly. This happens because hemophilia is a genetic disorder that affects platelets which are responsible for formation of blood clot in the wound. When these factors are missing or deficient, the blood can’t form a strong clot to stop bleeding.

As a result, even small injuries can lead to prolonged bleeding. For someone with hemophilia, a minor cut or bruise might take much longer to stop bleeding compared to a person with normal clotting. In severe cases, internal bleeding can also occur, especially in joints and muscles, causing pain and swelling.
