Solution

Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction states that:

  1. Whenever magnetic flux linked with a closed coil changes, an emf (electromotive force) is induced in the coil.
  2. The induced emf lasts as long as there is change in magnetic flux.
  3. The magnitude of the induced emf is directly proportional to the rate of change of the magnetic flux linked with the closed coil.
