Any two chemical properties of Carbon dioxide are as follows:

• When carbon dioxide is dissolved in water at high pressure and low temperature, carbonic acid is obtained. It is a weak acid.   

\(\rm CO_{2}\) + \(\rm H_{2}O\) → \(\rm H_{2}CO_{3}\)      

• Carbon dioxide is neither combustible, nor a supporter of combustion. However, metals like sodium(Na),  magnesium(Mg), etc. keep burning in it and form corresponding metal oxides and carbon. 

           \(\rm CO_{2}\) + \(\rm 2Mg\) → \(\rm C\) + \(\rm 2MgO\)
