The cyclic movement of the rain is shown in the poem as evaporation i.e. the rain rising eternally out of the land, condensation i.e. vaguely forming when cooled in the sky, and finally raining again i.e. descending to lave the droughts.

The showers are necessary for the Earth to lave the droughts, atomies, dust-layers of the globe and give life to the latent seeds.

The rain and music are similar as they both have a rhythm and the power to heal and purify.
